QUEEN'S LET'S TALK!

In hopes to further educate the Queen’s community on disability and service
dogs, we host educational events in which we invite guest lecturers and
guest speakers to host a presentation. The guest lecturers encompass a
large aspect of the education at Queen’s 4 Paws as these presentations are
delivered by professionals in the field of disability, who provide us with
information concerning the stigma of disability, internalized ableism,
accessibility and much more! The advocating aspect is delivered through
presentations from guest speakers who are confident individuals sharing
their personal experiences with disability and/or service dogs to inform us of
their profound knowledge and give us some perspective. These educational
events are intended for our members, as well as the Queen’s community, but
they are always open for everyone to attend! Let’s continue to talk and
continue to show up, to end the stigma. Advocacy matters today and every
day!
